After I e-mailed Tattoo Queen about my basement adventure, she sent me a link to Joshua Hoffine who has made childhood fears come to life!
We talked about the inherent scariness of cellars, and I told her my cellar was especially horrifying because the steps have gaps in them. Not too much of a leap in logic to imagine someone reaching between the space and grabbing my ankles.
Hoffine's number three captures that terror.
Now if I could only be sure to forget the images by bedtime.
